observations and models (left) as well as the assessed range of TCRE and the right-hand panel shows how information 4

is combined to derive remaining carbon budgets consistent with limiting warming to a specific level





3000 Gton corresponds to +26C after 700 years and not +1.5 as the graph on the left suggests. See Most Dangerous


The CO2 budget ended in 1895 when CO2 levels rose above 285 ppm, giving +2C.
